FAQs
Practical answers for property owners.
A quick overview of how our service works, what is included, and how we manage short-stay properties.
Why choose Tassie to Metro?
We operate locally, manage selectively, and focus on performance rather than scale. Our systems, pricing decisions, and standards are built around long-term outcomes, not short-term volume.
What types of properties do you manage?
We manage houses, units, and secondary dwellings used for short-stay accommodation. Each property is assessed individually before onboarding to ensure it is suitable for short-stay use.
Do you take on every property?
No. If a property does not suit short-stay or the expectations do not align with market reality, we will be upfront about it.
Are there lock-in contracts?
No. Our agreements are flexible and performance-based.
How is pricing handled?
Pricing is managed dynamically, based on seasonality, demand, length of stay, and booking patterns. Owners do not need to adjust pricing themselves, we manage it and communicate clearly.
Can I still use my property?
Yes. Owner stays can be accommodated with notice and are managed within the booking calendar.
Do you manage cleaning and maintenance?
Yes. We coordinate cleaning, linen, inspections, and maintenance using trusted local teams. Owners are not required to manage trades or logistics.
Is short-stay suitable for every owner?
Not always. Short-stay works best when expectations, property type, and market demand are aligned. We help clarify this before any commitment is made.
