Gary & Harleen
Founders | Short-Stay Hosts
Gary and Harleen are Hobart-based short-stay hosts who manage and operate Airbnb properties across Tasmania and selected metro markets.
They have been hosting for several years and are recognised as Airbnb Superhosts, reflecting consistently strong guest feedback, high response rates, and well-maintained properties. Their experience comes from running their own listings day-to-day, handling guest communication, pricing, cleaning coordination, and on-ground issues firsthand.
Tassie to Metro was created to extend that same approach to other owners. The focus is practical and hands-on, with clear communication, reliable local coordination, and properties that are easy for guests to stay in and easy for owners to manage.
They work with owners who value consistency and long-term performance, offering a hands-off management model without losing visibility or standards.
Sam
Property Manager
Sam is the Property Manager at Tassie to Metro and oversees the day-to-day operations across our short-stay portfolio.
She manages guest communication, cleaning coordination, property checks, and on-ground issue resolution, ensuring each stay runs smoothly from check-in to check-out. Sam works closely with local cleaning and maintenance teams to maintain consistent standards and respond quickly when issues arise.
With hands-on experience in short-stay operations, Sam focuses on reliability, attention to detail, and clear communication, both with guests and owners. Her role is central to keeping properties well-run, well-presented, and performing consistently.
Dellaine
Administrative Assistant
Dellaine supports the day-to-day administration at Tassie to Metro, helping keep operations organised and running smoothly behind the scenes.
She assists with booking coordination, guest communication, and owner correspondence, ensuring guest questions are answered promptly and information is clear before and during each stay. She also supports documentation and general admin across the portfolio.
Her focus is on consistency, organisation, and supporting the wider team so properties and guest experiences are managed efficiently.
